No matter what your summer pastime of choice, you can make a different in preventing the spread of invasive species. Protect your favourite hobby by arming yourself with information.

Boaters can bring the heat as well! Some aquatic invasive species can survive up to two weeks out of the water. Be sure to decontaminate watercraft and aquatic equipment by rinsing the entire surface with hot water.

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.
