America’s Cup Trophy on Display at United States Sailboat Show

The America’s Cup Trophy will be on display October 8 and 9, 2015 at the United States Sailboat Show, the Annapolis Boat Shows announced recently. 

“We are thrilled to offer our guests the opportunity to see the America’s Cup trophy as part of the festivities planned for the 2015 United States Sailboat Show,” said Paul Jacobs, general manager and president of the Annapolis Boat Shows. 

“We hope to bring some of the excitement of the dramatic 34th America’s Cup win to this year’s Sailboat Show as well as a look at the 35th Cup in Bermuda!”

The America’s Cup Trophy will be featured on Thursday October 8th, VIP Preview Day, and that evening with keynote speaker and America’s Cup host, Tucker Thompson, at the Premier Launch Party, an annual networking event to celebrate opening day.

Attendees may also see the trophy on Friday October 9th at the Annapolis Sailboat Show.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
