Furuno Gets Social with Facebook Contest

Furuno Contest

Furuno USA’s 15K Fan Fest Giveaway offers you the chance to win a GP1670F Chart Plotter/Fish Finder and a NavNet TZtouch2 MFD

Whether you use social media or not, there’s no denying that it is here to stay. Some use it to connect with old friends and to share memories with family, while others use it as their source for news and upcoming events. Furuno USA is looking to connect with you through Facebook and will be rewarding fans for “Liking” their page by running a contest.

Their goal is to hit at least 15,000 “Likes” by the end of 2015. For every 1,000 new “Likes” they hit, they will randomly draw a name from their entire Facebook Fan base and give that winner a Furuno GP1670F Chart Plotter/Fish Finder combo unit, valued at $700. If their Facebook page hits 15,000 “Likes” by December 31st, they will up the ante by giving away one of their recently introduced NavNet TZtouch2 12.1” MFDs, valued at $4,000. They will also be giving out hats and t-shirts along the way.

“We are looking for new ways to connect and communicate with our customers,” stated Jeff Kauzlaric, Advertising & Communications Manager for Furuno USA. “Social media allows us to not only provide information, but also receive information from customers. This social interaction will allow us to be more customer focused and service oriented, while gaining some new friends along the way.”
