New Boat Line Added at George’s Marine & Sports

Grady White Fisherman

George’s Marine & Sports has added Grady-White Boats to their line-up.  This premium brand of family sport fishing boats will complement their exiting line up of Nitro, Tracker, Mako and Crestliner fishing boats, along with their other manufacturers: Regal, Bayliner, Harris FloteBote and Sea-Doo.   A Grady-White boat offers customers who enjoy larger waterways options second-to-none in the same class of watercraft.   George’s staff recently attended the Grady-White conference which included an in-depth look at the building and assembly process, upgrades to the 2015 product line and technical resources.  With this extensive training, the George’s team will be able better share with customers the incredible value in every Grady-White boat.

Grady-White crafts a variety of versatile, high-quality center console, dual console, express cabin, walk-around cuddy cabin and coastal explorer family fishing boats from 18 to 37 feet. Grady-White is a private family-owned company where boats are designed through close customer input and built by craftsmen with a longstanding, sincere focus on exceptional attention to detail, in everything they do.

Awards & Recognition

George’s Marine & Sports has been named Best In Class for Customer Service and one of the Top 100 dealers in North America by Boating Industry as well as being recognized by Regal Marine as the #1 Dealer in Canada and #7 in the world.

“Out of the thousands of boat dealers in North America, only the very best make the Top 100 list,” said Boating Industry Editor in Chief Jonathan Sweet. “These companies are the elite of the marine industry, excelling at all aspects of their business. The Best In Class for Customer Service award is one every dealer strives to achieve.  This year George’s was given this prestigious award for outstanding work in customer relations, their specialized Customer Care and Warranty departments along with the top CSI scores.”.

Jeff Wilcox, President of George’s Marine & Sports stated, “It is a great honour for our staff to be placed among these select dealers in North America by Boating Industry.  I am very proud of our staff.  They’ve worked hard to achieve excellence and now have been rewarded.  I can’t thank our customers enough for their trust and loyalty over the past 45 years. With their support we have grown to three locations in Eastern Ontario.”   The Top 100 is an annual list of dealerships that are unsurpassed in business operations, professionalism, marketing tactics, customer service and more.  This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Boating Industry Top 100 program.

“We were very pleased to be named the Top Regal Dealer in Canada.” said Wilcox.  Since becoming a part of the Regal family in 2009, George’s knew it was involved with a leading boat manufacturer. Regal Marine was founded by Paul and Carol Kuck in 1969. Their philosophy of faith and stewardship guides this business to exceed boaters’ expectation with quality products and innovation in the industry. In 1995 their patented FasTrac Hull was launched garnering numerous accolades and awards.  For George’s to be named the

Top Canadian dealer within 5-years of carrying this well-respected manufacturer is a huge accomplishment and boasts well to their commitment to the boating industry.

Along with these awards, George’s has once again received their recertification as a Brunswick Master Dealer and Five Star Marine Industry Certified Dealer. These programs provide dealers with a set of criteria designed to create continuous improvement across all departments and, in turn, develop processes for meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The criteria and business best practices address the quality of dealer sales, service, parts, follow-up, facilities, as well as employee and customer satisfaction.

Criteria compliance is verified by an independent program consultant, and dealers are re-evaluated every year to ensure they continue to meet the certification requirements.   For consumers this means a consistent, recognizable standard of customer service regardless of the brand, type of boat, size of dealership or location.
