Television Broadcast Information for Distant Shores

CY October 2013 Cover

We hope our readers liked the cover photo of Distant Shores on the cover of the October issue of Canadian Yachting magazine, but we wanted to apologize for errors in the “On The Cover” information on page 5.

First, the photo credit for this dreamy shot should have been given to Paul Shard.

Second, we gave the American broadcast information and not the list of Canadian broadcasters. Our Canadian viewers have been able to watch the Distant Shores television show for the past three years across Canada on the Travel and Escape Channel. As of this September, 2013, Distant Shores is now airing in primetime across Canada on the new Cottage Life channel in back-to-back episodes at 6:00 PM ET and 6:30 PM ET. Double episodes also air at 9:00 AM ET and 9:30 PM ET. Cottage Life channel is on Free Preview for all of September and October so you don’t need to subscribe to the channel to receive it. http://cottagelife.com/channel-finder

Our apologies to Paul and to our readers who will certainly want to catch Distant Shores on TV in primetime!
