Helmut Dressler will be Well Remembered

Fellow boater and Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre Marina Four Dock Master Helmut Dressler passed away on Thursday February 20, 2014.  Helmut would have been 75 on March 15th.

Helmut will be remembered for his pride, dedication and caring for the people and boats in Marina Four. His friends and family will remember him for his love of boats, particularly wood boats, and the coats of care he meticulously applied on each part as well as for his love of Great Danes he each distinctly named Tiger.

People who knew him appreciated Helmut’s constant concern for the people and boats within the Marina for over three decades! The marina was his life. His determination and hard work got him through many busy summers and cold winters aboard his Thompson power boat docked within the marina.

He will be missed as part of the marina fabric and will be remembered as boater, Dock Master and friend.
