The CPS-ECP Member Benefits program has added three new Benefit Suppliers and some of the others have added to their offerings. Dock Links offers a special discounted membership for CPS-ECP members, where the Dock Links cardholder can take advantage of the numerous discounts for fuel, dockage and onshore amenities. Canada Rope represented by Inland Safety Supply is marketing their new Lifesaver, glow in the dark heaving line and other marine safety equipment. Sunsail Vacations offers a 15% discount on charters to any of their world- wide destinations. Sunsail is also sponsoring a Membership renewal contest with the opportunity for those members renewing their membership this year a chance to win a $7500.00 USD Charter voucher.

Starting this month in the online publication of On Board, Education and Membership will be featuring new advertising in alternating editions. The Education Ads will include a link that provides the reader with direct access to all the CPS-ECP courses available both online and in the classroom. The Membership Ads will provide the reader with a direct link to the Member Benefits program. This program identifies the resources and discounts offered to CPS-ECP members by our benefit sponsors and suppliers. You will be able save the links in the ads for both to Education and Membership for future access. You will be able to download the Member Benefits program to your device for easy reference in the future.

Be sure to take the time click on the link the accompanying ad in each edition, so you are sure to be up to date with the most current offerings.

Starting with this edition of the 18-19 Members Benefits program, you will have to login into your CPS-ECP Membership account to access the customer codes to qualify you for the discounts, rebate forms, and special information that is geared specifically for CPS-ECP members.

We will be starting to feature monthly articles from our Benefits Suppliers expanding on their particular areas of expertise. There will also be articles on the various CPS-ECP courses giving an overview of each course. The goal will be to publish articles at a time when they are most relevant. If you have a special request for a particular area of interest or topic, send us a request at hqg@cps-ecp.ca, and we will ask an expert to write an article on your submitted suggestion. Please send us your feedback, so we can improve what is offered.

New Boats: Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 – A Sleek, Good -Looking Delight To Sail

There is nothing more that I enjoy than being with friends and messing about in boats. Messing about in brand-new boats on a champagne sailing day on Lake Ontario at the beginning of the summer doesn’t get any better.
