POTW: Perfect Five and a Half

Mar 13, 2025

Ewen Campbell is at the helm of John Lister’s beautifully restored 5.5 Metre in Midland.  The 5.5 was adopted for the Olympics in 1949 but today is enjoying a resurgence in and around the Midland Bay Sailing Club.

This Photo of the Week was taken last summer but it certainly will get you in the mood for this season.  If you have similar (or entirely different) pictures from last year’s boating season, this year’s launch or anything else boating related, please let us turn them into the Photo of the Week.  Send your shots to onboard@kerrwil.com and pleas put POTW in the subject line.  Thanks!
