POTW: Back on the (Very Chilly) Lake

June 11, 2026

This shot was one of many taken by Elias Gates-Kass on the overnight Susan Hood Race. It even looks cold despite the warm lighting. As the sun set over the Hamilton shoreline the waves were building and the temperature was dropping. Our brave Photo of the Week photog was not daunted and caught the experience in images.

Now that the boating season has returned it’s time to get your photographer hat on and share your Photo of the Week.  It can be anything boat related –  guest and pets, interesting ports, crazy signs, funny boat names.  It’s your call. Just send your pictures to Onboard@opmediagroup.ca  and put POTW in the subject line.  We’re looking forward to seeing your shots!
