Lyman restoration continued …
Last January we covered some of the work taking place at Bras d’Or boat works on a 1962 Lyman Cruisette, along with a brief history of the Lyman Boat Company. Peter Patterson sent us this update and a few nice pictures of the “almost finished” boat.

Bruce Kirby given Order of Canada
On Thursday last week, at age 88, Bruce Kirby has been invested into the Order of Canada for his contributions to the sport. Besides representing Canada three times at the Olympics, Kirby’s biggest contribution to the sport of sailing is the design of the popular Laser dinghy.
