Lessons in Boating: Foul Weather Boating

As the season is starting, Sean Horsfall of Len’s Cove Marina in Portland ON takes a look at dealing with weather conditions that are potentially nasty.

Sean takes us through a series of steps to ensure you get out and back safely highlighting navigation in foggy conditions, keeping warm when the temperature drops, trip planning,  PFDs, and the very important kill switch.

Particularly early in the season, storms come up when you are out on the water, and sometimes you have no choice but to go boating in foul weather.
