Jeanneau NC 1095

Nov 8, 2018

Pleased with their success with the Jeanneau line of powerboats this past season the folks at Seamasters Marine Services in Dartmouth have upped the ante for 2019 with the new NC1095. Company Sales Manager Dave Trott says “These boats have struck a cord with our customers. The bright and airy, yet fully protected helm and cabin are a perfect fit for our climate. These designs can effectively extend your boating season by a month or more.” The new NC1095 is the largest in Jeanneaus outboard line and is a boat which packs a lot of cruising comfort in a 35ft package. Those familiar with the Jeanneau will recognise their style in this larger boat. Its layout and profile are very similar to that of the NC895, but the extra size makes for an even more comfortable and capable boat. The designers have managed to find room below for three cabins and a head, with a separate shower stall. The NC1095 is also available with a two-cabin layout.

Jeanneau NC 2Powered by a pair of 300hp Yamaha engines, the NC1095 carries 800 litres of fuel in two tanks, which give the boat a good range at cruising speed.

Like its smaller siblings NC1095 has an Jeanneau NC 3asymmetrical cabin design which allow a wide deep side deck on starboard for safe access to the foredeck. A helm side door makes it easy for the skipper to step out and assist with docking. A large L-shaped lounge comfortably fits a group and easily converts into a spacious lounging area. Transom platforms on either side of the outboard engines, make boarding safe and easy.

Jeanneau NC 5The interior of the NC 1095, with its twin opening sunroofs and large windows in the hull, allows for plenty of natural lighting. The galley is large and fully functional: here again, a surprising amount of storage space is available in both upper and lower cabinets, allowing you to store everything for your time on the water.

Jeanneau NC 5The NC 1095 has a nicely appointed owner’s cabin forward complete with a center-line double bed, easy access to head and shower, two overhead hatches, and long windows down each side. The guest cabin is to port and a third cabin to starboard can be utilized as an additional double berth or simply as additional storage.

The Jeanneau NC1095 was introduced at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and Maritimers will be able to see the boat by visiting Seamaster’s booth during the 2019 Halifax International Boat Show.

New Boats: Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 – A Sleek, Good -Looking Delight To Sail

By Katherine Stone

There is nothing more that I enjoy than being with friends and messing about in boats. Messing about in brand-new boats on a champagne sailing day on Lake Ontario at the beginning of the summer doesn’t get any better. To have the new owner, Helmuth Strobel and Anchor Yachts dealer Pancho Jimenez aboard made it even more special, as they can also speak to what they truly enjoy about the boat. We keep our own boat in a harbour that has a long waiting list for boats over 35 feet, so this little gem would definitely fit the bill and feels like a much bigger boat. True to the spirit of the 7th generation Oceanis line, the 34.1 is built in Poland and replaces the 35.1. It is 1,000 lbs lighter, 14 cm narrower and has 29% more sail area.
