Hidden-Gem: Prevost Island, BC

September 25, 2025

Why visit Prevost Island, Gulf Islands Marine Park Reserve?

“Prevost Island is in the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. It is mostly undeveloped, lush with forest, contrasted by open pasture. Great for anchoring, hiking, and peaceful camping. It’s got that quiet, off-the-radar charm, but is near amenities. There is First Nations and Settler history, and a lot of shoreline to explore for a small island. A spot of serenity in an otherwise busy waterway.”
