The FPMY Brand enters a new dimension…. highlighted in their January 20th press conference. It was more than 20 years ago that Fountaine Pajot launched the first trawler catamaran. Enter the new Fountaine Pajot MY Brand featuring the MY 4.S (37), MY 5 (40) and the MY 6 (44).

The Fountaine Pajot brand has approached 2021 with the new naming of each model of the range, to offer easier benchmarks of comparison. The MY 37 becomes the brand new MY4.S, MY 40 becomes the MY5 and the MY 44 becomes the MY6. World-wide dealers are very happy with the new branding as it is much clearer. The FPMY offers much more space than all the other boats to which they are compared:

The MY 37 offers the volume of a monohull motor yacht of 40-45 feet, the MY 40, makes you feel like you are on a monohull motor yacht of 50-55 feet, and on a MY
44 gets closer to a 60-foot monohull.

the interior concept of the new MY4.S

The new MY4.S is the first model in the range to have integrated this evolution. It’s been a joint effort with their designer Pierangelo Andreani who has helped to maintain the Fountaine Pajot trade marks of contemporary design, coupled with comfort, speed, light space and exclusivity.

With input from dealers and owners, the new MY4.S does not have a fly bridge, rather a new sport top roof to let in more light. New colours, Corian counters in the galley and heads and round edges throughout for safety have been incorporated. Easily sleeping 6 adults, there is room for family or guests.

Debut is set for Cannes, France on May 21, 2021. You will also find the new model at the Barcelona Boat Show in July and in the USA at the Seattle Boat Show in October 2021. It is expected that the starting price will be $400,000 Euros.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
