Sarnia’s Needham’s Marine joins Marquis, brings back Carver

Marquis Yachts has added Needham’s Marine in Sarnia, Ontario Canada to its dealer partner network. Needham’s Marine will actively support the sales and aftermarket service for Carver Yachts and the soon to debut Marquis.

“Needham’s will once again return the Carver Yachts and Marquis name back to this active and vibrant boating area where we once had great success and have been absent from in recent years,” notes Rob Parmentier, Marquis Yachts President & CEO.

2016 Carver C52 FlyRyan Wheeler will be joining the Needham’s team and will be serving the Georgian Bay/Toronto area. Ryan is a well-respected individual in the Ontario marine industry and his past experience with the Carver and Marquis brands.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
