Crescent Custom Yachts an elite custom boat builder announces two new models represented by Northrop & Johnson Brokerage.

Crescent Custom Yachts debuted two new yacht construction projects at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 117’ Fast Pilothouse is under active construction with a 2019 launch date and the 110’ Fast Pilothouse is in finished hull stage with a 2020 launch date. Both yachts are designed by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects.

Crescent 110Crescent Custom Yachts is a private company with sole ownership by Tim Charles. It is located at 11581 Mitchell Road, Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, BC Canada. Charles also operates Platinum Marine at the same location. Sister companies include Tactical Custom Yachts, an high performance aluminum boat builder, CCY Marine, a boat house construction company, and Milltown Marine Services, a full service boat repair company located at Milltown Marina in Vancouver and WrapBoats, a marine vinyl wrap finisher.

The 117’ Fast Pilothouse is a sleek modern design with a fast cruising speed of 24 knots. The interior is modern with minimalistic lines accented with contemporary finishes. With a nod to a classic build, the Crescent 110 pays homage to the timeless design of past Crescent new-builds including a large galley with a sweeping 180-degree view forward.

“Each of these yachts focus on owner and guest experience. The space is designed to be comfortable and versatile, offering different moods and settings from day to night.” said Greg Marshall, Naval Architect, “Both yachts share expansive owner suites with panoramic windows, full beam main and dining salons and commanding bridges with great seating. The outside spaces are ideal for entertaining and water sports.”

Tim Charles, Crescent Principal, said “the 117 and 110 share many similar high-tech systems but their different designs are suited for different types of yacht owners. A major difference between the two yachts are their cruising capabilities. Again we are addressing owner and guest experience.”

The Erie Canal – An Extraordinary Waterway

As I shift our chartered canal boat into neutral, I’m soothed by the soundtrack of bird calls, the occasional plaintive horn of a distant train and the hum of our engine.
