BBYC has brought back a new and improved Keelboat Learn to Race program. The first session is for women only and will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Monday will be a training day and on Wednesdays the group will race in BBYC’s club races. The sessions run for 4 weeks starting May 28th and will take place aboard BBY’s J24s. Sailors, who must have some keelboat experience, will learn how to fly a spinnaker, racing rules and more. This program is also great for women who have some racing experience but would like to brush up on the rules and hone their skills.

Subsequent sessions will be open to both men and women.

Registration is open at www.bedfordbasin.checklick.com . For more information head to www.bbyc.ca/lts . You can also email Kate Pepler at headinstructor@bbyc.ca , or call 902-717-3396.
