Founded in 1992 by the Crawford family as a car dealership Adventure Motors in New Glasgow NS expanded into the recreational marine business when they acquired the Bombardier watercraft line in 1995. Today, in addition to SeaDoos, Kevin Crawford and his team offer a full service dealership for Mercury outboards and Campion, Reinell, Scarab,and Legend boats. They have a 20,000 square foot facility in the town as well as a 45,000 square foot off site display and storage area.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
