Lisa Geddes has been appointed to the National Recreational Boating Advisory Council (NRBAC) as an independent stakeholder, for a three-year term. The NRBAC meets in Ottawa twice annually and provides Transport Canada with strategic advice on all matters related to the safety of recreational boating, the safe operation of recreational boats, the safe and environmentally friendly use of recreational waterways and any other issue of interest – it is chaired by the Director General, Transport Canada Marine. Lisa’s appointment will further enhance our advocacy efforts on behalf of the recreational marine industry in BC.
