Skyline Marina Announces Arrival of 2013 Meridian Yachts

Skyline Marina has announced that they have already sold both a 391 and a 441 Meridian 2013 model.

These represent great value in a flying bridge boat. Meridian Yachts is the industry leader in the growing Sedan Bridge segment of the marine market. The lineup consists of four models, 341 Sedan, 391 Sedan, 441 Sedan and the Flagship 541 Sedan.

Skyline Marina has received their 2013 341 model with twin Mercruiser 8.2 L HO 425 inboards, a 2013 Model 391 with twin Cummins 425 diesel inboards is in production now as are a 2013 Model 441 with twin Cummins ZEUS 480 HO diesels while the 2013 Model 541 with twin Cummins ZEUS 715 diesels starts production Sept 1.

These boats have available “Docking on Command” and Zeus Pod Drive with joystick technology.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
