Being a boater can come with certain space restraints for additional items that may make your outings even more fun.  The Pulse Inflatable Roadie I-Sup is a great solution. This inflatable I-Sups deflates to fit into a backpack-roller style bag that easily fits into a cuddy or storage area.   It performs just as well as the traditional epoxy SUP thanks to its 6″ thick drop-stitch construction, 15psi inflation limit and stability enhancing shape. The Pulse Inflatable comes with a high-pressure pump and pressure gauge allowing you to quickly inflate your SUP anywhere. All Pulse Inflatable boards have nose, tail and center carry handles, 3/4″ length diamond groove pad, elastic deck-rigging, D-Ring for leash attachment, US Box compatible removable center fin and side fins.  The package also comes complete with 3 pc, adjustable Carbon Fiber paddle (super lightweight and durable), leash and again the bag is durable and provides great ventilation.  Repair kit is also included, just in case.

I reach for the VHF to radio the lockmaster in charge of Erie Canal’s Lock 32 dead ahead. Our boat spins gently in the current like a maple key in a mud puddle.

“This is Onondaga,” I say. “Headed westbound and requesting passage.”
