Canadian Yachting at the US in-water sailboat show
Annapolis invented the in-the-water show in 1970 and it still remains as the last one of its kind in its 49th year- the United States Sailboat Show. Each year, contingents of Canadians troll the docks checking mono- and multi-hulls they may not be able to see in the water anywhere else.

Merc helps set waterski record
Mercury Marine was the power behind the Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team from Janesville WI in August attempted a Guinness World Record for building the largest-ever human pyramid on water skis. Two weeks later, they have made the Book and set a brand new record.

Ryan Anderson, a 16-year old laser radial sailor from the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, finished fifth overall at the 2018 Europa Cup in Dziwnow, Poland (Aug 11-13), capturing a bronze medal in the U19 division. He was top Canadian at the regatta.
