Tern’s shop is located on the Gold River Marina property and in their large building shed I found these two centenarian ladies getting ready for the racing season. In the foreground is the P class sloop Hayseed IV, a William Gardner design built in 1912, which has been sailing in NS waters since the early 1920s, next to her is Virginia a Q class built 1913.
