The C. Thomas Clagett, Jr. Memorial Clinic and Regatta congratulates Clagett Head Coach, Betsy Alison (Newport, RI) on being awarded the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) President’s Development Award for her outstanding achievement in the development of Para World Sailing in 2015.

Alison, received the award at the ISAF Annual Conference held November 7-14 in Sanya, China from ISAF President Carlo Croce. In her position as the Head Coach for US Sailing Paralympic team and Chair of the Para World Sailing Committee, Alison has continued her efforts in assisting adaptive sailors to be introduced to sailing and the many benefits it can bring.

Clagett Head Coach Betsy Alison awarded the ISAF President’s Development Award

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
