Shining Waters Marine, located near the Head of St Margaret’s Bay is a relatively new facility but has grown to be one of the largest full service marine yards in the region. Able to haul and store boats up to 50 tonnes, and with 54 services slips on floating pontoons, and the yard is a great alternative for Halifax boat owners, being just a half hour drive from the city. Shining Waters provides easy access to the pristine waters of St. Margaret’s Bay and nearby Mahone Bay, which are certainly some of the best sheltered waters on the Nova Scotia coastline.
