In a statement on their website posted on May 21, 2020, organizers stated: The iconic maritime events that have become Annapolis institutions over the past half century are slated to return to City Dock this October.

Looking to check that new megayacht? Organizers of one of Europe’s largest in-water shows, the Cannes Yachting Festival, announced that they are going forward with the 43 iteration of the event, slated for Sept. 8-13. Let’s hope we can fly to Europe by then!

Sneak Peak – Seven newbies from the 2019 US Sailboat Show in Annapolis
Celebrating their 50th year – the boat show was 10% bigger this year with larger boats and construction finished to help ease flooding with the city dock raised. Unfortunately, this was not enough, as the show had to close on Saturday due to excessive winds and a higher tide which caused flooding.

Ottawa show wrap
Ottawa Boat Show is the largest boat show in the Ottawa/Rideau Region, with a selection ranging from powerboats, fishing boats and cruisers, to pontoons, canoes, and kayaks. In February the Show filled the EY Centre for its 45th edition this past weekend, with hundreds of products on display for boating season 2020.

Incredible Princess Yachts Mock-up

Seventeen halls full of water related exhibits, perhaps a dozen of them full of boats and equipment. You might go to Miami or Annapolis to see the boat of your dreams, but you still wouldn’t get the same overwhelming scene. It might be because the whole show is inside that it is such an exciting event.
