Trent Port Marina

May 24, 2017

You’re on your way east to the 1000 Islands or the Trent-Severn. By entering north of Prince Edward County at Presq’ile Bay, you get to cruise up the irresistible Murray Canal into the Bay of Quinte. That passage leaves you so mellow it’s time to moor for the night and Quinte West, now in its second year of operation is right there to welcome you.

The Trent Port Marina is a terrific new municipal marina located in Quinte West, Ontario, at the mouth f the Trent leading to the Trent-Severn canal system.

Over 370 fully equipped slips (floating docks – hooray) are available for both seasonal and transient boaters at very competitive rates. Boaters will be welcomed by Quinte West’s hospitality while having access to dining, entertainment, shopping and various tourist attractions for all ages and interests.

Enjoy free Trent Severn Canal lockage fees throughout 2017 courtesy Parks Canada in celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation.

Tugnuts.com is quite a unique resource. The online forum has quick links to a chat, info about cruises & gatherings, a channel to ask questions of the Ranger Tugs Factory, Ranger Tugs Technical Discussions, “How to” videos and more.

The trim team smoothly sheets on the headsail and a competitor vessel shoots past our stern, feet away, as our Solana 45 beats eastward along Antigua’s south coast.
