Each year at this time the Saltspring Island Sailing Club membership puts on a memorable regatta.
This year, race committee chair, Pete McGovern, his race committee and the many club volunteers were rewarded for all their hard work with near perfect sailing conditions, There were 104 yachts competing in this year’s Round Saltspring Race.

On a brisk morning in mid-November our vessel PARU was gently lifted out of the water and placed on her cradle. With this momentous event our 2016 boating circle was complete and again the curtain falls on another year on the water.

The crew at the Dory Shop in Lunenburg have an interesting project, something a little outside their usual dory work. Trudi Peterson Inglis has written a detailed and interesting description of the repairs being made to the Concordia Yawl Tosca.

The original founders of CAN Sail GP have backed away from the project after Season 3 and reportedly are trying to sell the team. Meanwhile the Team continued to sail and did extremely well at the first event of SailGP Season 4 in Chicago, winning a race and placing third overall.
