Nova Scotia Sea School Summer Registration

Elizabeth Hall NS Sea School

Mar 8, 2016

Since 1994 the Nova Scotia Sea School (Sea School) has been offering youth, ages 11 to 21, adventure experiences that transform how they see themselves, the world around them and their capacity to contribute to our society. By providing participants of all backgrounds with a simple experience of life on a 30’ wooden traditional sailboat youth gain the confidence and awareness to make important decisions about their lives. Sleeping under the stars, living outside, sailing the coast, anchoring in remote coves and inlets, taking a fabulous “unplugged” break away from technology are some of the highlights. Because you are literally “at sea” for the week, you become almost family with your ship mates, as you learn to work together and rely on each other.

Summer registration is open for 4, 6 and 7 Day Sailing Expeditions.  If this sounds like it might be the right adventure for you, or something that perhaps your children might benefit from, contact the Nova Scotia Sea School at: http://www.seaschool.org or give them a call at (902) 423-7284.
