Do You Have Your Accredited Boating License?

CPS Boating License

July 2, 2020

If you are heading out boating on Canadian waters without your PCOC – Pleasure Craft Operators Card, consider heading to the Canadian Power Squadron website first.  Study and complete the test online, immediately!   The CPS-PCOC is the only boating license accredited by Transport Canada and recognized by the US Coast Guard.  The Pleasure Craft Operators Card is good for life. Once you have it, the hardest part is remembering where you put it (and there’s a solution for that too).

Take the time now to tick this off your TO DO list. www.cps-ecp.ca/pcoc-boating-license/

If you already have the test and wish to fine-tune your boating and navigation skills, consider trying one of CPS’ many online courses. www.cps-ecp.ca/course-catalog/

CPS has an extensive website for boaters with a wide range of topics.  Take a moment to peruse it. www.cps-ecp.ca/

The trim team smoothly sheets on the headsail and a competitor vessel shoots past our stern, feet away, as our Solana 45 beats eastward along Antigua’s south coast.
