Racing Smarts: Dellenbaugh Webinar Start March 18

Mar 14, 2024

Sail racing fanatics will want to know that  Dave Dellenbaugh’s latest webinar (‘Contrasting Priorities’) starts on Monday, March 18 (Our next Sailing in Canada comes out on March 20, so we needed to provide a heads-up!  Dave is a regular contributor to SinC)

This four-part series will analyze and explain how to adjust your tactical, strategic, and boatspeed priorities across four key racing dimensions: Strategy vs. Tactics, Upwind vs. Downwind, Light Air vs. Heavy Air, and Ahead vs. Behind. This will be a unique approach with lots of ideas about how to sail faster and smarter. It should be very helpful and interesting for any sailor (skipper, crew, big boat or one-design) who wants to improve their racing skills.

Even if you can’t make all (or any!) of the four live sessions, you’ll get links to watch them any time you want. You will also get all the pre-read materials plus a link to a Google doc with all the series Q&As. Use this link to register or learn more.
