Everyone interested is invited to hear about SailGP Season 3 from Sir Russell Coutts, CEO, SailGP; Canada SailGP Team CEO, Jean-Sébastien Chénier Proteau; and  Tyler Bjorn, Head of Development & Purpose on Wednesday April 6 1700 – 2000 hrs.

 The program will include an introduction to SailGP by Sir Russell Coutts – aim of the league, athletes, boats, technology, teams, purpose + impact followed by an intro to Canada SailGP Team by Jean-Sebastien Proteau, the team’s CEO, including the aim of the team, ownership, athletes, purpose, boat update and a Canada event update.

Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for Q+A.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
