Sail NS AGM & Meetings takes place February 10 – you’re invited

The Annual General Meeting of Sail Nova Scotia will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 10 at the Halifax Boat Show. Attendees will receive a free boat show pass to attend. More details have been sent to all clubs.

On that day Sail Nova Scotia will also host a LTS Directors & Instructors meeting from 10am – 11:30am. Following the AGM there will be a commodores meeting which will likely run from 2-3pm.

If you would like to attend any of the meetings please notify Sail Nova Scotia no later than February 1 so we can get you a free Boat Show Pass.

 

All the AGM materials will be available at www.sailnovascotia.ca when ready. Hard copies to be distributed at the meeting.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
