The Salty Dawg’s Fall Rally to the Bahamas will depart from Hampton, VA on November 2 with the Antigua-bound boats, but will head due south for a fur to five day sail to the Abacos in the northern Bahamas.

News from Kingston: CORK Update

Shellbacks re-convene for season
Officially started in February 1934, The Shellback Club is celebrating its 86th year. To be “Shellback” today only requires attending a lunch meeting and joining everyone in singing a sea shanty. The location, as in past years, is the RCYC at 141 St George Street at Prince Arthur in Toronto (west exit of the St. George TTC station).

Held at Orcas Island Yacht Club on June 29 and 30, the 2019 M242 North American Championship had its biggest turnout at 27 boats since 2012, and Mike George with is team of Alan Field, Jennifer Hylander, and Jennifer Arrington, all from Los Angeles, won it for the 4th time.
