Le Sail GP de retour à Halifax en 2026

Sail Nova Scotia a été choisi comme hôte du Canada Sail Grand Prix 2026, qui se tiendra en juin de l’année prochaine. Les dates exactes et les informations sur la billetterie seront annoncées ultérieurement.

Sir Russell Coutts, PDG de SailGP, a déclaré : « Nous sommes ravis de retourner à Halifax, l’un des événements préférés des fans du championnat Rolex SailGP. Nous avons eu une participation incroyable de passionnés pour nos courses l’an dernier à Halifax, et, compte tenu des conditions de course difficiles, cela promet d’être un événement exceptionnel pour notre saison 2026. »

Sarah Flanagan, présidente de Sail Nova Scotia, a déclaré : « Merci à la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse, à la ville d’Halifax et à tous nos partenaires de s’être mobilisés pour nous aider à ramener SailGP à Halifax. Je suis convaincue que l’Ocean Playground du Canada organisera à nouveau un événement inoubliable. »

Giles Scott, pilote de l’équipe NorthStar SailGP, a ajouté : « Courir devant son public est incroyablement spécial, et nous avons hâte de ramener l’intensité du SailGP au Canada. »
