Bénévole en vedette: Bob Wood, bénévole de l’année des CPS-ECP

Bob s’est joint à l’escadrille de Calgary en 1979 et a obtenu ses qualifications d’instructeur pour enseigner les cours CPS et Voile Canada (CYA). En 1998, Bob a déménagé à l’île de Vancouver où il a passé 14 ans comme capitaine de port pour la RVYC.

Bob et Edie ont construit une maison sur l’île Gabriola en 1998 et ont transféré leurs membres de Calgary à Gabriola en 2008. Bob est un leader enthousiaste du programme RVCC et a formé de nombreux membres à effectuer des vérifications de sécurité des navires. 

Bob a quelques problèmes de mobilité, mais cela ne l’a pas ralenti, il est un partisan infatigable et organisateur d’événements d’escadron. Bob fait tous les efforts possibles pour aider.
