The coming of summer means rendezvous season on the West Coast, with yacht clubs, owners’ associations and boatbuilders staging events at popular destinations on the South Coast.

Gibsons builder Coastal Craft stages its owners’ rendezvous May 17-19 at Poets Cove Resort, South Pender Island.

Video shown on a local TV Channel shows the boat completely upside down, and with the wingsail smashed, in a similar outcome to that which occurred on the October 6, 2012 incident with Oracle Team USA.  The incident occurred just before 1.00pm Pacific time on Thursday, May 9th.
