Port Whitby Marina Celebrates 40 Years!

Port Whitby Marina

Apr 11, 2019

Now considered one of the premier marinas in all of Ontario and a central piece of Whitby’s amazing waterfront, Port Whitby Marina had a humble beginning in 1979 as a small cluster of docks and temporary buildings on the North side of Whitby Harbour.

Owned and operated by The Town of Whitby, the marina has been upgraded and expanded over the years and is now one of the largest marinas on Lake Ontario with 420 floating docks!

Port Whitby Marina offers all of the amenities and services expected at a full service marina.  The location is ideally located within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, groceries, LCBO and much more.  Boaters can even sign out bicycles, kayaks and SUP’s free of charge to explore the area.  Whitby is known for its small town charm and great amenities.
