Evolution re-opens in Toronto

Evolution Sails corporate headquarters in Auckland New Zealand has announced Canada’s new office, Evolution Sails Canada Group, located in Toronto. At the helm will be Asta Abraham and Greg Bratkiw.

The new company will focus on sales and service benefitting from Greg’s 37 years of sailing making, cruising and racing experience along with Asta’s 30 years of business, public relations and a lifelong love of sailing.

The sails will come from Evolution’s head office loft in New Zealand.  New Zealand is one of the most respected countries for yacht design, boat building, leisure sailing and competitive racing.

Evolution SailsBratkiw explains that the Canadian operation will continue to design sails both in Toronto and New Zealand to ensure that performance is geared towards our customer needs and local sailing conditions providing a more personalized experience. “We know our customers enjoy sailing for many reasons whether it be racing, cruising or spending quality time with friends and family. Our goal will provide superior service to our customers.” In addition to sails and sail repair we are offering sail handling equipment, rig tuning, coaching, seminars along with consulting.

Just when you thought you might never see the Galley Guys again, there they were waving from the flying bridge of a Le Boat Horizon 3 gliding down the Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) in the sun. Glorious!

In the past the Galley Guys have travelled far and wide to great locations to explore the good life on a boat. However, this year we stayed in our own backyard for a real treat; cruising The Trent Severn Waterway.
