Boating Ontario announces Transport Canada’s ‘Safe Boating Guide’ to be included in the new Boating Ontario directory app

Boating Ontario App

September 9, 2021

Boating Ontario is very proud to have Transport Canada’s Office of Boating Safety jump on board and include the ‘Safe Boating Guide’ in the new Boating Ontario directory app which is free for Apple & Android devices. The app, released in January of 2021 delivers a wealth of new boater information including detailed listings of over 350 member facilities, education, and regional highlights across the province.

“We are extremely pleased that Transport Canada’s Office of Boating Safety saw the value in the app as an effective means of delivering the safe boating message to consumers. With so many new boaters on Ontario’s waterways, now is the perfect time for the association and we are grateful to have this important tool as part of our free app. A huge thank you to our partner Kerrwil Publications who did a great job putting this together” said Rick Layzell, CEO of Boating Ontario.

There are three simple ways to get your 2021 Directory:
1) Use your mobile device camera to scan the QR code
2) Visit www.boatingontario.ca
3) Search for ‘Boating Ontario Directory’ in the App Store or Google Play
