SailGP Canada News: Additional Tickets and Flags Go on Sale for 2026 Halifax Grand Prix Tomorrow – January 23

Following high demand, SailGP has announced that additional Waterfront Grandstand tickets for the 2026 Canada Sail Grand Prix | Halifax, as well as a limited supply of Bring Your Own Boat flags will go on sale on Friday, January 23 at SailGP.com/Halifax. 

Halifax Harbour will host the seventh stop of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship from June 20-21, 2026. Thirteen (!) teams will race in providing Canadian fans with a front-row seat to speed and innovation.

In the Waterfront Grandstands, for CAD$145, fans can enjoy elevated grandstand seating in the heart of the action, perfectly positioned in the race stadium to catch every moment, along with live commentary and big screens, plus food and drinks available for purchase. 

According to SailGP, as part of the Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) program, fans will secure the ultimate front-row seat on the water, with prime positioning for flagged vessels within the SailGP Exclusion Zone. The weekend boat flag will include Exclusion Zone access, a souvenir flag, a comprehensive briefing and live-race commentary. BYOB flags for vessels up to 39 feet will be valued at CAD$715, 40-59 feet at CAD$1,235 and 60-79 feet at CAD$2,380.

Additionally, limited tickets remain on sale for Georges Island, where fans can enjoy exclusive vantage points with harbour views, ferry transfers to the island and arrival picnic packs.

TSN to Broadcast SailGP

On Jan 14, SailGP announced that TSN returns as the Rolex SailGP Championship’s exclusive home of SailGP in Canada for the 2026 and 2027 Seasons.

TSN will broadcast all SailGP races live across Canada for the next two seasons on its channels, in addition to a comprehensive offering of highlights and replays made available via Video on Demand and TSN+. Additionally, RDS will showcase SailGP highlights from events throughout the season.

The 2026 season will kicked off with the Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix broadcast on TSN on last weekend.  Broadcast times  throughout the season are available here
