Sunnier Days Ahead
Last years winner Brad Harris has not used his Sunsail Gift certificate yet, but no one could have predicted this pandemic to immobilize us as it has. Nevertheless Brad has up to 5 years (Oct 2024) to use his certificate and we look forward to helping him plan his boating vacation whenever he is ready.

Did you know two thousand CPS-ECP volunteers are part of this elite group contributing approximately 150,000 hours of service annually? That’s impressive and greatly appreciated by CPS-ECP.

New Laws and Regulations That Apply to Pleasure Craft
From time to time new laws and regulations relating to the operation of pleasure craft are added to the Small Vessel Regulations and are also added to the key learning points required to pass the test for the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC).

Meet Board of Director Member Nicole Ladner, S
Nicole has been involved with the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons since she was an infant. She took her first boating course sitting in a play pen at the back of the classroom while her father taught at the front. She grew up on the West Coast and always enjoyed being out on the water.

Introducing CPS-ECP’s National Secretary: Lynda Bennett-Retei, S
Lynda has been involved with Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons for over 21 years. Lynda and her now husband have been boating for over 29 years and very early on they both realized that driving a boat was not like driving a car! Firstly the markers out on the water were not road signs and weather did play a role in their enjoyment on the water.
