New Training Season for CPS-ECP

February Education Feature

Feb 25, 2021

Boat sales have exploded to the point where salespeople have to put customers on waiting lists. The 2021 boating season will see many new boaters on all waterways who are still unaware of all they do not know yet about safe boat operation.

Who better than us can guide them to put “pleasure” into their boating?

Despite all the pitfalls placed in our path by the pandemic, each squadron must mobilize its instructors and offer at least one course. The simplest and most effective online course offering has been designed and successfully implemented by the Outreach team. Ask Tom Beaver (Eastern Canada) or Barry Smith (Western Canada) for more information.

If Outreach is not right for you, you can offer the course online using the video conferencing application of your choice. (Zoom, Facetime, Teams, GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Slack, etc.) On the course calendar, schedule class under classroom and put a note to signify the application chosen.

Both formulas allow a personalized contact with the students. This way, we can promote membership and other courses we want to offer.

Happy boating season to all.
