The Toronto Boat Show delivers a million square feet of show space to browse more than 1,000 boats, PWCs and accessories for a wide range of interests from fishing to sailing, stand-up paddleboarding to wakeboarding and e-foiling.  In addition to being North America’s largest indoor marketplace for boats and marine products, the show also offers FREE seminars, and hands-on activities to experience boating and the outdoor recreational lifestyle – including plenty to see and do on the world’s largest indoor lake for boaters.

Big NewsA world-class offshore powerboat race is coming to Toronto!

Taking place along the stunning shores of Lake Ontario, 50 elite teams from Canada and the U.S.A will compete in thrilling races throughout the weekend to claim the coveted title of North American Champion. This prestigious event is organized in partnership with Race World Offshore, a professional offshore powerboat racing organization based in Florida, known for hosting events in premier destinations such as Key West, Clearwater, and Michigan City.

The Toronto Offshore Grand Prix offers fans an adrenaline-filled experience, showcasing high-performance boats with engines pushing over 2,000 horsepower and reaching top speeds of 135 mph. Alongside the exhilarating races, visitors can enjoy a street festival featuring entertainment, food vendors, and interactive opportunities to get up close and personal with these incredible machines. Spectators will have free public viewing along Lakeshore Boulevard, from west of the CNE Grounds to Humber Bay Parks (East and West).

NEW – Antique Boat Rides on The Lake for Charity!  Buy a ticket to enjoy a unique boat ride on a restored antique cedar strip Richardson 14’ boat, powered by a Tohatsu ALARIS™6.0kW electric outboard motor.  Proceeds from boat ride tickets will go towards funding the work of Kids & Classics Boatshops Museum and community programs.

Women’s Day at the Toronto Boat Show (Sunday, January 19):  A day dedicated to empowering women on and off the water, featuring seminars and hands-on workshops. Meet Melodie Schaffer, 2023 Rolex Sailor of the Year.  She shares her inspiring story of having a career as a biomedical engineer to being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years, then overcoming unimaginable roadblocks to pursue her passion for offshore sailing, setting race records, and becoming the first Canadian woman to race around the world in her Class 40 boat named, Whiskey Jack.

Sailors Hub:  A designated Sailor’s Hub and the return of Sailor’s Day (Jan. 25) offers an opportunity to connect with fellow sailors and industry experts, discover new sail products, accessories and sailing programs, and plenty of seminars for sailing enthusiasts taking place every day of the show from Jan. 18 – 26, including:

  • Highlights from the Globe 40 World Race – Meet Melodie Schaffer and hear her stories from the inaugural Globe 40 double handed race around the world. She was the only Canadian entry and the only female for the entire race. Over eight legs she raced for 174 days on the ocean, around all 3 Capes and covered 35,000 nautical miles.
  • Introducing Wing Foiling to your Club – Join Ontario Sailing and North Sails to take a look at the equipment involved in wing foiling, and how to expand your club’s programming and membership though foiling.
  • Starting Your Sailing Journey – Writer Phoebe Wang became a sailor at the age of 28, demonstrating that there’s many paths into the sport as an adult.
  • You Can Go Bluewater Sailing – Erin and Marie Bates accomplished this impressive journey in just six years, despite not having decades of sailing experience. Learn the important steps they took to make this significant adventure possible.
  • What to Do to Get Your Boat Ready for Spring Launch – Come to this simple “DIY spring commissioning” to become more self-sufficient in ownership and maintenance and learn from Diane Reid and Mike Macdonald who have been in the trade for 30 years both as technicians and boat owners.
