POTW: Actually, an Artist’s Rendering

It’s not quite built yet but once it is the Keating Channel Pedestrian Bridge on Toronto’s reborn eastern waterfront will provide a striking gateway between downtown and Toronto’s new island.

On track for completion in mid-2028, Keating Channel Pedestrian Bridge will bear a signature “S” shaped suspended arch connected by an array of fanning cables that evokes the sun’s path during solstices and equinoxes. The bridge will provide a vital active transportation connection and serve as a striking gateway between downtown and Ookwemin Minising.

Since then we’ve repowered, installed Starlink, and retired from work. Now, with confidence in our engine and our connectivity and more time to sail, we were Superior-ready.
