The Salty Dawg’s Fall Rally to the Bahamas will depart from Hampton, VA on November 2 with the Antigua-bound boats, but will head due south for a fur to five day sail to the Abacos in the northern Bahamas.
If you are looking for an exciting adventure, come along with the Salty Dawgs on the Maritime Rally. Nova Scotia has an attractive sea-bound coast with quaint fishing villages, numerous isolated coves, and historic sites. The Rally takes participants to beautiful Cape Breton Island and the Bras d’Or Lake.
The Salty Dawg Caribbean Rally boats bound from Newport, RI, Hampton, VA and other ports in the Mid-Atlantic region are now all underway. Some 70 boats, flying flags of registry from the U.S., Canada and several other nations are at sea and bound for Antigua in the Easter Caribbean.
Whether it’s stable flies, thunderstorms, zero winds or over 20 knot blows, the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge is always just that – a challenge.
Laura and Royce live near Lake Nipissing but boat on Georgian Bay. This year we were out of Key River so sadly missed a month due to the big fire.

The Pursuit S 268 Sport centre console is a do-it-all kind of boat with a solid sense of style. Centre console designs have been developed for the southern blue water sport fishing enthusiasts (and this boat would raise fish with the best of them) but the Pursuit S 268 Sport centre console offers far more utility and enjoyment than just fishing.
Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
