An exciting new feature of the Discover Boating campaign is the Facebook Movie Maker.

For people who love boating (and who doesn't!) the Discover Boating ad campaign has just launched the new Facebook "Welcome to the Water Movie Maker" app. The movie maker app is LIVE on Facebook.com/DiscoverBoatingCanada "Welcome to the Water Movie Maker" and it enables boaters to create their own customized short boating movie using photos of their favourite boating memories. Once created, the personalized boating movie can be shared with family and friends on Facebook. In addition to using their own photos, boaters can choose their favourite music, background theme and write their own captions to create their individual 'Welcome to the Water' movie.

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
