SamBoat, already well implanted in Europe, is a boat rental platform that allows people to rent their boat when they are not using it, but also for people not owning one, to rent one online.

An easy way to describe it would be to call it an Airbnb of boats. The company has recently announced its expansion into the United States. What does that mean for Canadian snowbirds?

If you are looking for a fun activity for your holidays in Florida this winter you can go have a look at the boats they have available on https://www.samboat.com/ You will find motorboats, sailboats, catamarans starting at 50$ per person. What’s convenient is that you can rent those boats with or without a captain ; it’s your call whether you would like to captain yourself or if you would rather be captained.

Azimut and Jet Ski MiamiThe experiences available are pretty wide. You can rent a boat for two hours but also rent a catamaran for weeks to go sailing in the Bahamas.

According to US Country Manager Sarah Briquet, Samboat’s main goal has always been to make boating accessible to all. “The Joy of being at sea accessible for all” being their motto, they have developed their fleet in the US, starting with Florida where they now have around 300 boats between the west and east coast.

Overall, they are present in more than 70 countries in the world, which makes them a pretty convenient service provider whether you want to be on the water at home or abroad.
