Binoculars pocket keeps optics handy

Seasucker Binocular Case

July 8, 2021

Binoculars are a valuable tool on board any boat but they’re often stowed, rather than within reach, when needed. The new Binoculars Pocket from SeaSucker mounts temporarily to any clean, non-porous surface to keep optics close at hand, whether on deck or below.

Made in the USA, the Binoculars Pocket comes with a 4.5″ SeaSucker Vacuum Mount. Unlike a common suction cup that fades as soon as it’s applied, its grip lasts for days and holds 120 pounds—an important consideration with expensive optics. And when it’s time to stow the binoculars, the device removes without leaving a mark.

At 9″ W x 9″ H x 5.75″ D, the Binoculars Pocket accommodates a full-size pair of marine binoculars, including those with integrated compasses. Made from soft plastic with stainless steel fittings, it cushions the optics from accidental knocks. Drain holes at the bottom keep it from filling with water and facilitate cleaning.
