Matt Price at Harbour Chandler assembles Paint for Pitoraq refit

Matt Price from Harbour Chandler made recommendations and put together paint supplies for the refit of Graham Heath’s sailboat Pitoraq. See “Do It Yourself Deck Repairs on Pitoraq” in this issue of the OnBoard Digest.

The Harbour Chandler store is not allowing anyone in however, the staff is there to answer customer phone calls and emails. You can also go to their website to view and place your orders for Marine supplies. The staff is expanding their website on a daily basis to make more products will be available online.

Orders can be picked up in designated areas outside the store or they can be delivered directly to the customer.

Alex Fox at Trotac Marine informed OnBoard that they are providing service to customers in the same manner as Harbour Marine. Trotac has a large commercial division servicing the Fishing Industry on Vancouver Island, as they maintain the vital supply of fresh seafood for Canadian consumers.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
